Its pretty fun. After Life - Story of a Father is a beautiful experience. Its not so much a game as a thought provoking exploration of how we come to terms with the loss of a loved one. Told from the point of view of Rick, a father who has died suddenly, we follow along on his journey as he remembers significant moments in his family's lives, and witness how each of them deal with his loss.This is an emotional story that is told in a sensitive and thoughtful way. It is incredibly well written and acted, and the music and visuals are really well done. Highly recommended.. A very athmospherical, story based experience. I highly recommend if you enjoy a good story.. This game doesn't make any sense.. I can't recommend this game in it's current state. There are many factors holding this title back honestly.Upon starting the game, I was met with the Settings menu , particularly the graphics settings. I chose Titan where as I have a specific machine for high end experiences and enviorments. Upon getting on with the game, the graphics are cartoonish at best and not what I was expecting. The feel is too much of one that the developer created this title as a personal project, but not with a lot of forethought or care.Many of the assets in the game tied in with the movement are simply props that are non collision (phantom based) and make them more of an afterthought in feel. The movement UI itself is fine but very unintuitive at times. The worst part I suppose, is the story and voice actors. I was not convinced in many cases to the subject matters brought up in the memories presented (one character protests doing something, but I really didn't feel their urgency in something that they professed to feel strongly about). It simply wasn't entertaining in that the story was just a generic rehash of topics really.. This game doesn't make any sense.. A very athmospherical, story based experience. I highly recommend if you enjoy a good story.. Gee yet ANOTHER unfinished, buggy, completely unplayable mess....... Can't so much say this was a game per se as there was very little, almost no, actual gaming to it. Interesting enough storyline and pretty good voice acting, but there was just so little to do and so much time to just sit around waiting for dialogue to pass. I can't say I enjoyed it very much.
